Software Engineer

Software Engineer will work on supporting the planning, design, and execution of Azure-based web applications that will be used by educators to become more effective at instructing students. The position requires a team member who has strong technical skills, along with strong communication skills. The Software Engineer will enhance existing applications written in C#, .NET Core, ReactJS, and web forms with a SQL backend and REST services. The Software Engineer will supervise around 5 employees.

Job duties will also include: Software Development in OOP languages (C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET); Software Development using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure VSTS, Reach Framework (Native and Web), JavaScript; MVC framework (building efficient, reusable and reliable code); implementing security and data protection plans; Database and SQL development; understanding of SQL query languages ESS6, Redux, Immutable, JSX Components, and Bootstrap; Azure DevOps for task and code management; design and develop Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications using .NET technologies; REST Web API web services; develop on ASP.NET core framework; usage of OAuth 2.0; OpenID Connect, and IdentityServer; develop software in Agile environments.

Job Requirements:

o 7+ years of Software Development experience in OOP languages (C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET)
o 7+ years of Software Development experience using Microsoft SQL Server
o Experience with –
o Azure VSTS
o React Framework (Native and Web)
o JavaScript
o MVC framework experience (building efficient, reusable and reliable code)
o Implementing security and data protection plans
o Database and SQL development experience
o Firm understanding of SQL query language
o ES6, Redux, Immutable, JSX Components, and Bootstrap
o Azure DevOps for task and code management
o Expertise in designing and developing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications using .NET technologies
o REST Web API web services background and experience; ability to develop on ASP .NET Core framework.
o Functional knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and IdentiyServer4
o Developed Software in Agile environments
